Many of you are hearing the stories of the stores in the GTA running out of things like toilet paper in recent weeks as people seem to be in a bit of a panic about the Corona Virus.
Generally speaking we are hearing that we don’t need to rush right immediately and load our karts full, but we should consider slowly stocking up on some basic supplies a few things at a time when we are out and about. You can also think of this as a great time to take stock of what you already do have and perhaps do a little spring cleaning and organizing of your pantry and fridge, and even the medicine cabinet!
Here is a great article in the Globe and Mail that Carol Ann shared and it offers some great tips:
In addition to your pantry, check your medicine cabinet. Look at expiry dates. Take old medications that have expired and ones that are no longer needed to the pharmacy to dispose of them. Stock up on Tylenol, Advil, cold medications, and tissues.
Again, the best thing all of us can do is to practise good hand washing every day!
