Bonnie enjoys working with clients of all ages. As a former high-school Physical Education teacher and CrossFit Kids Coach she now offers her own classes and private training to older adults. She believes strength training is important at all ages!
Bonnie has a BSc. in Physical Education, is a certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach, and a Functional Aging Specialist. She has been a lead coach for a McMaster University and Canadian Frailty Network research project on strength training in older adults. She is a certified CrossFit Level 1, CrossFit Mobility and CrossFit Kids coach. Bonnie is also a BoneFit Trainer with Osteoporosis Canada. Bonnie has spent time working as a Physiotherapy assistant at the Orthopaedic Sports Institute and is completing her certification as an Exercise Therapist.
She is a busy mother of 2 active (ski racing) boys, who enjoys the year-round outdoor playground that is Collingwood. When she is not in the gym she enjoys skiing, hiking with her 2 crazy dogs, paddle boarding and surfing, time at the beach and family mountain bike adventures. Her passion is to help her clients continue to be active, fit and enjoy their own adventures.
